Terms of Use

Last updated: November 6, 2026

Postbeat is offered by Lucas Schmid, Germany (see legal notice). The app is licensed to you under Apple's Standard License Agreement (EULA). These terms add the rules for your Postbeat account, the web app, Connect AI and Postbeat Pro.

1. The service

Postbeat helps you plan social media content. It does not publish to social networks and is not affiliated with Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, X, Threads, Anthropic or OpenAI. The free version works on your device without an account. Postbeat Pro adds sync between iPhone, Mac and the web app, the web app itself and Connect AI.

2. Your account

You need an account for Pro features. Keep your sign-in methods and your Connect AI link private; anyone with that link can read and change your posts. You can delete your account at any time in the app, which deletes your synced posts.

3. Postbeat Pro

4. Your content

Your posts belong to you. We only process them to provide the service (see privacy policy). Don't use Postbeat for unlawful content. Please keep your own copies of important captions; Postbeat is a planning tool, not an archive.

5. Connect AI

When you connect an AI assistant, it acts on your instructions and can create, change and delete posts. Check what it saves. The assistant's provider is responsible for its own service and terms.

6. Availability and changes

We work to keep sync and the web app available but can't guarantee uninterrupted operation. We may change or extend features. If we ever discontinue Pro, we will tell you in advance, and your posts stay available on your devices.

7. Liability

We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence and for injury to life, body or health. For slight negligence we are only liable for breach of essential contractual obligations, limited to the typical, foreseeable damage. Liability under the German Product Liability Act remains unaffected.

8. Final provisions

German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you are a consumer, the mandatory consumer protection rules of the country where you live also apply. We are not willing or obliged to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
